Capital Markets Intern

Endurance Reinsurance Corporation of America (ERCA) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Endurance Specialty Holdings Limited - a global provider of insurance and reinsurance. We are currently looking for an undergraduate or graduate summer intern to work with our Senior Vice President of Capital Markets.

Responsibilities:
• Work with executive management on a variety of analytical projects
• Provide analysis to management on a variety of strategic, financial and business requests
• Assist with projects involving investors and reinsurance clients in the Capital Markets arena
• Assist with projects involving the CEO of Reinsurance and other members of executive and senior management with relation to capital markets alternatives to reinsurance
• Assist in handling a variety of other projects and responsibilities as needed by Endurance management
Skills:
• Analytical background and quantitative skills
• Financial aptitude
• Intermediate/Advanced Excel
• Experience and competency with respect to software applications – Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word
• Good analytical and research skills
• Attention to detail, organized and focused
• Team Player
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Willing to learn new concepts
• Willing to learn the industry

Seeking a top level student for the summer of 2009. The internship is located in New York City, at our midtown location and the internship typically will mirror our 40 hour work week with possible overtime. This is a challenging position that will offer significant professional growth and exposure to the emerging Capital Markets arena. Prior intern experience preferred and MBA’s welcome.
