PMO Project Manager: Kforce Technology Staffing

This role is for an experienced IT Project Management professional to provide PMO support that is supporting a transformation program implementing new business units (BUI). This role will be part of a Program Management Office that supports project work streams in planning and executing program initiatives. The work streams are aligned around business processes. Each work stream consists of multiple projects that are implementing a new business unit model into financial systems. The selected candidate should be familiar with the systems development life cycles and project management practices. Other Functions:

* Incumbents in this role will prepare and revise project documentation in support of financial management, project planning, work management, change control, issue and risk management, scope management, requirements management, and performance management
* Ensure adherence of established BUI processes
* Complete required training in Pegasus, Ariba, WTPS, and ELC to support processes
* Support project initiation and proposal reviews with stakeholders
* Coordinate with F/P BT Operations on project set-up, financial tracking, and reporting
* Enter and submit projects for WT Governance review
* Collect, compile, and review weekly status reports
* Follow-up with individual project managers and teams on delinquent reports, project issues, and inconsistencies in reporting
* Track issues and risks and follow-up with PMs on risk mitigations
* Conduct weekly operation and program review meetings
* Compile and distribute meeting minutes to attendees and stakeholders
* Prepare program presentations for stakeholder reviews
* Maintain program road map and manage interdependencies
* Review status of application analysis to confirm enhancements are required
* Confirm deliverables from analysis projects are complete to support scoping execution projects
* Recommend continuous improvement to PMO processes for greater efficiency and improved quality

PMO Project Management Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with IT service delivery or an affiliated field with some emphasis on IT systems development and management
* 5 years of experience in systems development or business systems planning and design
* 5 years of program/project management experience
* Previous experience in PMO roles is desirable
* PMP Certification is desirable
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access) and Microsoft Project and/or MS Project Server
* Self starter works independently with limited direction to complete work assignments accurately and on time
* Possess basic understanding of project lifecycles and systems development lifecycles
* Past experience with financial systems and projects is desirable
* Good interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with technical and functional colleagues in a geographically dispersed environment
* Good oral and written communication skills
* Strong customer service orientation
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Strong teaming skills
* Good business acumen
