Partner Schools in the RISE Network are committed to preparing students growing up in poverty for success in school and in life. RISE partners with schools that have high expectations for students and work collaboratively to realize their vision of success for every child.

RISE is currently searching for teachers for all subjects and grade levels, 6-12, to work at a growing network of schools throughout New York City. Openings include: science, math, English, special education, social studies, and foreign language (Spanish, French, Latin, Korean). Complete one online application to gain access to openings at RISE Partner Schools, as well as insight into each school's leadership, teacher empowerment, professional development, use of time, and facilities/resources.

RISE Partner Schools include Department of Education schools who are actively searching for teachers who currently work in the DOE. Candidates should have:

* A valid teaching credential (or have a credential in progress for completion by August 2009)
* One year of recent experience as a full-time classroom teacher using a variety of strategies in a low-income K-12 setting in the United States(cannot include student teaching or substitute teaching)
* Ability to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
* A belief that all students can achieve at high levels
* A strong desire to be part of a team building better public schools

Schools are located in Brooklyn, the Bronx and Manhattan.
