HBO Technical Producer/Front End Developer

OVERALL SUMMARY
The Technical Producer will be responsible for the planning and development of HBO websites.​ This individual will work in conjunction with web team members (producers, designers and editors) as well as back end developers to scope out and implement projects.​

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Build templates using XML, Perl, Javascript and HTML utilizing the Interwoven Teamsite content management system.​
* Review and advise on potential solutions based on their technical feasibility and ongoing production viability.​
* Research new technologies, contribute to product development idea set and execution plans.​
* Develop and maintain technical documentation and user guides.​
* Participate in the administration of department wide systems including analytics tools.​
* Ensure development standards, best practices and site technical quality are met and maintained.​

REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor's Degree
* 3 - 4 years hands-on web development experience.​
* 1 - 2 years experience developing for Interwoven Teamsite.​
* Proficient in Perl, JSP, HTML, DHTML, Javascript, CSS, XML and cross-browser web development techniques
* Experience integrating front-end code with server-side scripting technologies
* Familiarity with Web 2.​0 technologies
* Interest in contributing to ongoing web innovation.​
* Able to troubleshoot and independently research and resolve problems
* Working knowledge of web graphics programs including Adobe Photoshop
* Self-directed, proactive, solutions-driven
* Proven experience working with web team members to translate requirements into a final solution.​
* Ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative work environment, applying your technical skill to solve user experience issues.​
* Able to balance multiple, competing priorities.​
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent oral and written communication skills including ability to effectively communicate status on project assignments.​
* Flash experience a major plus.​
