Web Content Manager / Administrator

The Website Content Manager / Administrator is responsible for managing LIM’s online presence with primary responsibility over day-to-day operations of the College’s website. He/she will be key liaison and principal advisor among marketing, department and technology stakeholders regarding Internet technologies. The Website Content Manager / Administrator will work within and continually evolve the website and will be responsible for directing overarching and ongoing website evolution, new project definition, implementation, and maintenance. The Website Content Manager / Administrator will also work collaboratively with faculty, staff and students on developing site content including creating editorial copy and features as well as directing, managing and editing photographic, graphic and video content. S/he will also be responsible to work collaboratively with the IT department on technical considerations and issues pertaining to the site.

Job Qualifications/Requirements and Benefits
Requirements: The person selected will have the following qualifications:

•Earned Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Mass Communications, English or a related field
•A minimum of 5 years experience within a communications-intensive setting including a minimum of 3 years of online content development and website administration experience
•Proven copywriting, editing and proofreading skills specific to an online environment
•Experience with an enterprise content management system (such as RedDot); and Web development and editing skills (such as (X)HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, Flash, AJAX PHP, as well as graphics development and editing tools (such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator)
•Candidates should also have excellent critical-thinking, relationship management and operations management skills.
