Private Tutoring Manager

Specific Areas of Responsibility
Customer Service: Ensure that students have remarkably positive tutoring experiences
* Make follow up calls to students and families
* Conduct academic consultations by phone
* Conduct infrequent but crucial in-home consultations and tutoring
* Communicate with tutors to ensure great service

Relationship Building and Marketing: Turn positive experiences into business opportunities
* Generate referrals and convert them to sales
* Develop relationships with school counselors and administrators
* Conduct presentations for parent groups, student groups, and others

Qualifications
Required
* Bachelor's Degree - top schools strongly preferred
* Experience tutoring or mentoring students
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* The ability to solve problems quickly and creatively
* The ability to work both independently and on teams

Preferred
* Work experience in the field of education
* Client-facing experience
* Knowledge of Manhattan private schools a plus

Salary and Benefits
Generous compensation package including base salary ($40-50k) based on experience and bonus opportunities based on performance. Health and dental coverage, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
