Associate Creative Director/Creative Director (New York, NY)

Robust interactive shop has an immediate need for a conceptual-driven Interactive Associate Creative Director/Creative Director. S/he must possess effective communication skills, as s/he will be required not only to communicate with internal members of the team, but will also be interfacing heavily with clients (i.e., pitches, business development, client presentations) along with brainstorming and conjuring concepts. Client interaction will consist at last 50% of the job. Execution will play a MINIMAL part in this role, but applicant should have a substantial knowledge of interactive concepts: Flash/Actionscript, rich media technologies, front end-development, coding, etc., and be comfortable speaking with developers/programmers. In addition, the ACD/CD should originate from the interactive agency world and have at least 7-10 years of art direction and managerial experience. The position will begin as a freelance gig with the strong possibility of being converted to full-time. (depending on fit!).
