Flex Styler

A progressive agency in the city has a project in midtown and are looking to hire a Flex Styler. They are in search of a designer or front-end developer with a strong understanding of design for Flash applications. Candidates need to have experience with at least 1 project where AS3 and/or Flex was being utilitized.

Must haves:
* Solid understanding of Flash display programming:
* Flash Player 9+
* ActionScript 3
* Flash drawing APIs

Must be Skilled in graphic production:
* Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash)
* Experience building pixel perfect front-end layouts from design comps
* Absolute attention to detail and nuance
* Working experience of designer / developer workflow (best practices)

Knowledge of best practices for customizing the presentation of Flex applications:
* Understanding of skinning / styling using css
Working knowledge of MXML
* knowledge of Flex component capabilities and limitation

Nice to Have:
* Knowledge of drawing and animation frameworks (Degrafa, Tweener, etc.)
* Experience developing custom component.
* Experience working with Designers
