Sr. C/C++ Technical Trainer/Software Engineer

The Role:
Client's Software Training Tools team in R&D builds customized applications to be used by R&D and other internal customers. R&D team works with the latest technologies and serves as both trainers and software engineers to a technical staff of 2,000. Client seeks a highly motivated individual to serve the dual role of technical trainer and software engineer.

In the Senior Computer Science Technical Trainer role, the successful candidate will develop and deliver technical training to R&D developers. The team works closely with other parts of R&D to analyze technical training needs and to provide training for job skills, as well as professional development programs.

Qualifications
* A Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
* 4 years of hands-on C/C++ development experience
* Solid understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Modular/ Object-Oriented design
* Experience with database technologies (Oracle, MySQL)
* Knowledge of XML, SOAP, PHP, and Perl
* Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
* Ability to multi-task
* Ability to work well independently and under pressure
