Payroll Specialist - International

Alvarez & Marsal is a leading global consulting firm with 1,500 professionals based in nearly 40 locations around the world. A&M specializes in providing restructuring & turnaround management, performance improvement and corporate advisory services to companies, investors and stakeholders, across a wide array of industries.

We are currently centralizing our international payroll function to the firm’s New York City Corporate Headquarters. The Payroll Specialist will be the primarily point of contact for tracking and proper reporting of wages for our 200 UK/European employees and 100 employees in Middles East, Asia and Latin America.

# Manage the international payroll function; play an integral role in the centralization project efforts
# Work with external service providers, ADP and internal Payroll Managers
# Responsible for responding to all payroll enquiries and ensuring escalation as required
# Responsible for ensuring employee compensation costs are captured, reportable and ultimately charged to appropriate business entities in relation to participation in employee mobility programs (relocation, expatriate, frequent business travel, etc).

Skills/Requirements
# Minimum of 3-5 years in-depth expertise and experience of UK/International payroll procedures.
# Prior experience working with expatriates a plus
# Experience in Shadow and Split payroll processing
# Experience with ADP Streamline and Excel a plus
# Exceptional attention to detail, ability to take initiative and work under tight deadlines are required
